This spring, “Let’s French… Again!” Festival invites everyone to plunge into a bubble of French atmosphere right in the heart of Waterford City. Come and enjoy a sample of la culture française: photographs, music, cinema, literature, food… and of course, wine!
“Let’s French… Again!” is a unique celebration of Irish and French cultural links in Waterford City, featuring live performances and special events for people of all ages and interests. Le festival, held from April, 1st to April, 8th 2011, serves as a platform for local talent and also as a showcase for international artists : it provides an opportunity for everyone to experience and participate in French culture in many different ways.
Thanks to the support of our partners, many events will be free and accessible to all. The Festival is organised by a dedicated team, in partnership with Europe Direct at the Central Library (Lady Lane), the Arts Office in Waterford, the Institut Français of the French Embassy and the Alliance Française in Ireland. It is supported by L’Atmosphère Restaurant, La Bohème Restaurant, Le Caveau (Kilkenny), Next Door at the Granville Hotel and Sal’s Pub and B&B.
